01

Arrival & photos

  • Photograph the spa before service, if there is one
02

Water chemistry

  • Test pool-water chemistry
  • Add and balance chemicals based on the test results
  • Double-check water chemistry and review LSI (water balance)
  • Log the chemicals and amounts added
03

Equipment & prevention

  • Visually inspect accessible pool equipment and operation
  • Check filter pressure
  • Inspect visible equipment and plumbing for leaks
04

Hands-on cleaning

  • Net and skim the water surface
  • Brush the waterline tile
  • Brush the pool walls
  • Vacuum the pool floor every weekly visit
  • Empty the skimmer basket
  • Empty the pump basket
05

Final photos & security

  • Take after-service photos of the pool
  • Photograph the spa after service, when present
  • Close and lock the gate, documenting it when applicable
  • Send a digital visit report with readings, chemicals, checklist and photos

Spa and gate items apply when present; services depend on safe access and the pool's equipment. Chemicals are added according to water-test results—not on a fixed schedule. A visual equipment check helps identify warning signs early but cannot guarantee that breakdowns won't occur.

A LITTLE ABOUT US

Family-owned.
Owner-operated.
Pool care that's personal.

Splash Pool Pros is a small, family-owned pool service business. Right now, it's just me—the owner—personally handling our weekly pool visits. When you reach out, you're connecting with the person who cares for your pool.

I'm building this business around doing the little things right: vacuuming every week, carefully checking your water, documenting the work, and communicating clearly. My goal isn't to be the biggest pool company. It's to provide dependable service that feels personal.

GOOD QUESTIONS

We've got answers.

A few things homeowners usually want to know before starting weekly service.

Are pool chemicals included?

Complete Care includes up to 4 gallons of liquid chlorine, 1 gallon of muriatic acid, and 6 pounds of sodium bicarbonate per calendar month, added only when water tests show they are needed. Unused amounts do not roll over or convert to cash. Additional quantities, CYA (stabilizer), calcium products, salt, specialty treatments, and filter cleanings are billed separately at disclosed rates. We confirm concentration, rates, and any exceptions in your quote. Essential Care bills chemicals separately.

Do I get a pool service report after every visit?

Yes. After each visit, we send a detailed digital service report with recorded water chemistry readings, Langelier Saturation Index (LSI), chemicals and dosages added, completed cleaning tasks, before-and-after photos, and a photo showing the gate secured when applicable. You can see what happened even if you weren't home.

Do you vacuum my pool every week?

Yes. Vacuuming is part of every weekly visit, not just something we do when the pool looks dirty. Fine debris can settle on the floor and be difficult to see, so we include weekly vacuuming as part of our cleaning routine.

How much is weekly pool cleaning in Santa Clarita, Lancaster or Palmdale?

Our Essential Care plan starts at $159 per month, and Complete Care starts at $189 per month with limited routine chlorine, acid, and bicarbonate included. Final pricing depends on pool size, condition, service needs and location. We confirm everything after an in-person pool evaluation. Every weekly visit includes an accessible-equipment visual check to catch visible warning signs early.

More questions about pool care & local service
Can you quote my pool over the phone?

We can explain our starting rates, but we prefer an in-person pool evaluation before confirming your exact monthly price.

What areas do you serve?

Lancaster, Palmdale, Quartz Hill, Santa Clarita, Valencia, and select San Fernando Valley neighborhoods. Route availability depends on your address.

What is included in weekly pool cleaning in Lancaster or Palmdale?

A typical visit includes skimming debris, brushing accessible pool surfaces, emptying baskets, testing and balancing water, and vacuuming the pool floor every week. We also send a detailed service report after each visit with chemistry readings, LSI, dosages, and photos. Exact service details are confirmed during your pool evaluation. Each weekly visit also includes a visual check of accessible equipment for obvious warning signs; we flag concerns promptly.

Does hot Antelope Valley weather affect my pool chemicals?

Yes. Strong sunlight, high temperatures, bather load and water conditions can affect sanitizer demand and balance. Regular testing helps determine what adjustments your pool actually needs.

Why does my pool get dirty after windy days?

Wind can blow dust, leaves and other debris into the water. Some settles on the floor while some collects in skimmer baskets or filters. Skimming, brushing and appropriate filtration help manage the buildup.

Do you clean saltwater pools?

We can discuss weekly maintenance for residential saltwater pools. Salt systems still require regular water testing and balancing; salt-cell cleaning can be arranged separately when appropriate.

Can you help if my pool is cloudy or turning green?

Tell us what you're noticing when requesting a quote. We'll review your pool's condition and recommend appropriate next steps during the evaluation.

Do you offer weekly pool cleaning in Santa Clarita and Valencia?

We accept quote inquiries for Santa Clarita and Valencia. Tell us your ZIP code and pool condition so we can confirm whether your address fits our weekly maintenance route. Each weekly visit also includes a visual check of accessible equipment for obvious warning signs; we flag concerns promptly.

Can I get pool cleaning in the San Fernando Valley?

Possibly. We focus on select San Fernando Valley neighborhoods rather than the entire Valley. Please send your location so we can check route availability before providing a quote.

Is Quartz Hill included in your weekly pool service area?

Quartz Hill is one of our focus areas. Weekly service is subject to route availability and an in-person pool evaluation.

Is Splash Pool Pros a family-owned business?

Yes. Splash Pool Pros is a small, family-owned business and is currently owner-operated. The owner personally handles weekly pool service, with a focus on consistent care, clear communication, and detailed visit reports.

How often do you clean my pool?

Our regular maintenance service is once per week. We'll discuss the routine during your pool evaluation.

What happens during a typical weekly visit?

We skim debris, brush accessible surfaces, empty baskets, test and balance the water, and vacuum the pool floor every week—even when it looks clean. Afterward, you receive a digital report with water readings, LSI, chemical additions and dosages, a record of the work, and photos. Filter and salt-cell cleaning can be discussed separately.
